Default Transfer Ticket Issued

Observed 1744 on a 235.

I had been on a walk along the Grand Union canal (on topic in this NG
!) and had taken a 235 to where it started near Brentford Magistartes
Court. After Windmill Bridge/Three Bridges and a bar lunch at the
Plough, Norwood Green (recommended) we returned by Osterly Park and I
got a H28 (Tfl bus with only one door) from Tesco to where it
intersected the route of the 235.

I was intending to go all the way to Sunbury Village but it terminated
short at Sunbury Cross after a unexpected diversion, complete with
display "this bus is on divirsion, please listen for announcements"
which caused us to pass the BP Research Centre.

I had a National concession bus pass, so didn't care, but a young chap
who had paid the cash fare demanded something to avoid paying again and
got it. I congratulated him, left him to wait for the next 235, and
walked round the corner into Staines Road West to wait for the 555 at
its Sunbury Cross stop.

Wouldn't you be a lot drier walking along the towpath instead?

I dunno, not many people can pull off the walking on water trick!!!
