Petition against C-Charge for Blackwall Tunnel by
Mark F
Please sign my petition to urge the government to stop Greenwich council
from setting up the congestion charge in the borough of Greenwich.
This charge will not only effect journeys through the centre of
Greenwich, but also users of the Blackwall Tunnel, as the council are
considering making this a toll tunnel.
I have lived in Greenwich for the last 42 years, so I have seen an...

Anyone driven the CC free route yet? by
ryouwho@hotmail.com
Hi group.
I might well have occasion to drive from the bottom of the M1 to
Brixton in the fairly near future, and at least one way will be during
charging hours, which means either a lengthy detour or the free route.
Has anyone on here driven the north-south free route yet? How well
signed is it? Any pitfalls for the unwary driver-ie how easy is it to
accidentally drive into the zone, especially...

There is an obelisk in Circus Place with ventilation slots near the top.
Just to the south is a huge drain big enough to lower a van. Any clues?

Third platform to be built at Mudchute DLR? by
Mudchute
This evening I spotted a planning application on a lamp post by
Mudchute DLR southbound exit for a third platform to be built there as
well as the demolition of the emergency exit on the northbound
platform and the construction of additional canopies.
When I first read the word "third" I though it must be referring to
the platform extensions for the third carriage but it definitely
referred to...

Motspur Park speed restriction by
pjcs
Anyone know what's happening - or not happening - at Motspur Park?
There is a speed restriction of what feels like 1mph in both
directions. On Monday they said it was emergency engineering works,
but there's no obvious sign of anyone engineering anything.

DLR this morning by
Phil Reynolds
Can someone please summarise for me, with times if possible, what
precisely was going on at East India this morning?
As I understand it, service was suspended Poplar - Canning Town, and
then briefly Poplar - Royal Victoria/West Silvertown, with service
resuming a little after 8, but then later there was a further failure.
Both problems were reported to be at East India, involving a broken...

Quick Q: Parking on the Jubilee or Bakerloo ? by
Nick Leverton
I need to be in London early tomorrow from the North, before the first
train from anywhere useful arrives. In this case I usually drive to
Finchley Central and use the capacious car park there, but I've just
found out that neither the Northern nor Vic is running where I need to go
(Waterloo at 07.12 !)
I thought the TfL site had car park details but can't find it with their
search box. Has...

Passenger door buttons gone on refurb D Stock by
Boltar
Can't LU make their minds up if they want these or not? It seems they
occilate between having them then not on various train types over the
years. Why have they been taken of the D stock? Seems a bit of a
retrograde step.

Turnham Green 24/25 February by
Richard J.
Because of engineering works, there are no District Line trains between
Turnham Green and Acton Town this weekend (24/25 Feb). LU have
announced that Piccadilly Line trains will call at Turnham Green
throughout the weekend.
Does anyone have access to the relevant Traffic Circular? I'm
interested to know whether the Picc will run a less frequent service
than usual in order to cope with...
