Design company Tangerine has developed a concept for a ‘post-Covid’ metro
train, designed to help operators plan for future pandemics by enabling
them to readily adapt the interior to minimise the risk of transmission
during local outbreaks.

Lets hope common sense starts to take over once again and all this nonsense
disappears off down the drain where it belongs. Some similar rubbish I saw
yesterday in The Times was putting partitions between individual aircraft
seats. As if that A) Would make any difference in a closed enviroment and
B) Do wonders for evacuation times as people have to squeeze between a
narrow gap between partition and the seat in front. Also they'd no doubt
be a highly effective decapitating device in a crash landing.
