Default London bus routes and passenger numbers

TfL publish a fair amount of information about the performance of the
bus network, but this focusses on timeliness and on mileage operated.

Is there any public information out there about passenger numbers, for
example by bus route?

I should have added this link to that performance data:

23.4 million people used the 25 in 2012/13, while a mere 9,958 used the
N238.

one of the daytime ones wasn't much better

399 - 13,000

assuming that it runs every day (OK It's M-Sa only) that's 40 pax per day or
8 pax per bus (it's seems to be a circular route)

Would be cheaper to offer them a taxi!

In the data released to the London Assembly / London Datastore the 965

was listed though. It had 1,819 pax last year.

Also the N238 was an Olympics only route that only ran for a few weeks

so 9,958 was not actually too bad. I certainly saw people using it
when I did some Olympic night bus photos.

Thanks

Route 399; Hadley Wood - Monken Hadley - Barnet. It seems to be only a ¼-hr run. A very short route!

26 minutes round trip, the outer end is a largish loop.

It runs hourly, the bus spends the other half hour doing the 389 (only
22 minutes round trip, also ends in a smaller loop).

I am sorry to be untopical, but please tell how you found that URL.
Until a few months ago, I could search Google groups, using Google
Groups Advanced Search http://groups.google.com/advanced_search?num=100
&q=&
That now maps to https://groups.google.com/forum/#!overview, where I
find zilch. I REALLY miss a search form.
