Default Paper tickets

Why do some ticket staff keep selling me tickets on paper instead of
oyster? Is it because I have a student rate photocard? It's extremely
inconvenient to be sold a paper ticket when I have an oyster. The only
consolation is that it's only a weekly ticket so I should be able to
get a new one on oyster fairly soon.

The Hutton Report is a whitewash! Long live the BBC!

To annoy people in a slow lift: run up the stairs faster than the lift
moves and press the lift call button on each floor.

Where?

Is it because I have a student rate photocard?

No, discount rate 7 day travel-cards have been on Oyster for quite a
while now.

Have you *actually* said that you have an Oyster card and want your 7
day travel-card on it?

West Ham, although it seems to just be one person who does this sort of
thing. He seems to be pretty unhelpful generally.

That's what I'd thought, but some people still seem a bit confused
about this issue.

I didn't mention Oyster. I thought that all tickets were supposed to be
on Oyster now anyway.

Thats your problem.

Weekly tickets can be issued on either Oyster or via paper.

Its only the longer season tickets where the "paper option" disappears.
