What a pity LU is very unlikely to offer a London equivalent of Berlin's
popular open wagon U-Bahn tours:

I dunno, what with allowing steam on parts of the subsurface lines
occasionally and the running of the 1938 train on occasions LUL don't
seem to averse for the occasional special event, it may that they have
never thought of it. Presumably like the Berlin example featured you
would need temporary seats on open wagons
Could start simple , convert an old DLR set to something inspired by a
Blackpool boat,

Traveling around the docklands buildings at night on a warm summer
evening could be a nice trip.


True, and it shouldn't raise too many elfin-safety heebie-jeebies. But I
think seats on yellow trains like these, running through the tunnels, would
be more fun:
