Default Crossrail to Reading from Dec 15

4 tph peak, 2 tph off-peak, with 9-car 345s.

Not mentioned in the story is that these services will be free for Freedom
Pass and 60+ Oyster card holders.

Paddington to Hayes & Harlington is already free at any time.
Which means that the only change is that the Hayes & Harlington
to West Drayton section will be available at any time rather
than restricted to after 09:30 weekdays.

Or are you suggesting that the passes will be usable beyond the
current boundary?

They are usable to Shenfield (on TfL trains) so why not to Reading?

AIUI from discussions in various places on FB; while Oyster PAYG will only
be available to West Drayton, Freedom Passes will be valid to Reading on
TfL trains only.
