Default SWT Vs Southern ticket machines..

The Avantix program shows:

Thornton Heath to Gatwick: day returns only.
Thornton Heath to Luton Airport: day returns only.
Thornton Heath to Stansted Airport: open tickets (including Saver) only.
An SOR is 1.7 times the price of a SOS.

From this, we can conclude that BR thinks that people who live in
Thornton Heath will only ever fly to the Faroe Islands and not to, say,
Germany or Switzerland.

(AFAIK the Faroes is the only place where you have to go via Stansted)
