Pre Pay will only buy you single adult tickets, at 2003 prices on a
weekday and rather less at weekends.

I suggest you buy some Saver bus Tickets (4.20 for 6) and keep these
in
your wallet. Plan your journeys in advance and decide when it would
be cheaper to get a one day bus pass or a Travelcard. Oyster can't
do this
for you.

The bus element will be working in March - with cheaper mutli-modal
transfers to follow....

....so at the moment, it's not really worth my while using it at all, unless
I want to make a single low-cost tube journey?
