This states that HS2 will not go through Northolt Junction.
It doesn't. It says that high-speed trains will not run on the Chiltern
route.
But it is planned for the almost disused line that heads straight from Old
Oak to Northolt Junction, and under which the dive-under dives.
Well, if it happens, and if it happens on that route - no doubt somebody
will think about what to do. But let's not blight Evergreen 3 with any talk
of HS2.

Certainly the current HS2 mapping doesn't take account of Chiltern's
existing three lines at West Ruislip and the proposed three lines at
South Ruislip. However it makes it clear that the exact route through
Northolt / Ruislip needs further development and that HS2 will take
into account Chiltern's Evergreen 3 aspirations.
