I think you'll be surprised at how popular Dalston is becoming -
theatre, jazz club, famous market etc - and Highbury at the upper end of
Upper Street and by more clubs, the Arsenal etc is hardly not already
popular.

About noon today, the line diagrams on carriage 8057 of District train
043 showed an interchange with Overground at Whitechapel - there is
another at Barking. The platform hoardings have gone from Whitechapel
and access is now prevented by red and white striped tape.
