Default Final design for the "New Bus for London" (aka BorisBus / newRoutemaster) unveiled

Ugh. Its a repugnant abuse of the contest. They long ago announced a
winner - http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedi...outemaster.jpg

This is nothing like it. Its just a normal two-staircase bus with a
hole added to the back as a shoddy afterthought.

You can't get on or off easily when its moving (even slowly) because
there's no pole to hold onto. You can't catch it when its just started
moving because the door is only at the side and there's no gap at the
back.

Its too fat so it can't weave through the streets and traffic so
easily. It doesn't have the pretty dent in the front for the engine.
The windows are too high at the bottom, and the glass all the way down
the doors is just a gratuitous abuse.

There's no "design" to it. Its just ugly. A bus designed by
accountants.
