Default Stratford to Woolwich - wither?

The DLR certainly serves the Airport better than Silvertown station
did, and to be honest there's not much at North Woolwich other than
the tunnel and the ferry, and if you want to get to the other side
then you might as well stay on the DLR.

North Woolwich has a sizeable and growing residential community - about
fourteen months ago I spent a lot of time down there for a council
by-election and saw the DLR in heavy use.

Silvertown station isn't actually that far from London City Airport's
terminal as the crow flies but the route between them is along a residential
street (plus some walking about within the airport itself) and it was
utterly unsuitable for anyone hauling luggage. Throw in the half-hourly
service on a single track and no amount of rebranding and signposting the
station as "Silvertown for London City Airport" was going to get air
passengers using it much.
