Just a thought.

It's not very intuitive to call the southernmost Underground line the
Northern Line, and if you are in Hammersmith and want to get to the City
you might not always want to go via Paddington.

Thameslink actually has quite a strong recognition round here. Perhaps
more so than FCC.
