Default Oyster to Birmingham

Chiltern are now offering free weekend travel over its whole

network
if you buy a season ticket costing more than £150 a month or £1500

a
year. A Z1-6 Travelcard is more than this.

The offer has also be existance for well over a year....

With the emphasis on "well over" - I've been using mine for

Birmingham trips
for at least a couple of years. I wouldn't call it an "offer",

though, just
a benefit to season ticket holders, the same as the free bus travel

on
Arriva buses in the High Wycombe and Aylesbury town areas.

So what other /benefits/ are on offer if you take the trouble to buy
yur season from a different TOC ?

I take it that SWT is still running their (Goldcard) 5 free
Friday-Sunday SWT network tickets per year.
