I wish to register a complaint. The original Spaghetti Junction was

Surely the essence of local nicknames is that there is no
competitive pressure between far off places for the same nickname.
London contains (at least) two Henlys Corners, two Fiveways
Corners, two well known Angel junctions, two Amen Corners and so on.
In this case the Brummie upstart came along and nicked the title!
Wiki disagrees with you...
Maybe we could try to get Worsley renamed "Malfunction Junction".
