Default Visiting London

In message , at 20:24:00 on Thu, 16 Dec
2010, David A Stocks remarked:

Said station also needs to have a reasonably fast service into and out
of London - there are a lot of *very* slow trains in that part of the
world. Somewhere close to the A2 or A20 (Bexley? Eltham? Mottingham?)
might fit the bill, but I don't know enough about parking or trains.

I thought of North Greenwich (for the Dome) and Jubilee Line, as it's
close to those major roads; but despite what's presumably a lot of
rather under-utilised daytime parking there, it seems a bit expensive.

I suspect Ebbsfleet is the best deal overall.

Quite likely, especially if the weather is bad.
