Default North dock drained for crossrail

Just read they've drained the north dock down at canary wharf for
xrail. Is this going to be a permanent situation? If it is perhaps
its time to think up a new name for the area since there won't be
many docks left!

Well, there aren't *any* wharfs, either!

On the contrary, there are. A wharf is just a structure with a level
surface that is located directly adjacent to a berth. Most of the
berths in the docks on the Isle of Dogs are still accessible from the
river, albeit by vessels of reduced size compared with the ships that
used to be able to get in.
