You can ascend from the canal towpath to street level at Primrose Hill
Bridge, yes - the path up from the canal is to the west of the bridge.

Detailed mapping does seem to be a bit lacking in terms of the canal network
in London, but maybe there's something out there wot I've missed?

Oh, and I'd say questions re pedestrian routes are quite within utl's remit
so ask away!
