If it's just down to utilising the D stock elsewhere, why has no-one
suggested using a couple of sets of redundant A stock to retain the
shuttle service? AIUI the only restrictions on A stock applied between
Edgware Road and High Street Ken, so it's (presumably) in gauge beyond
HSK.

I think because that doesn't remove the conflicting crossing moves that
reportedly cause the delays all over the District Line that they also
mention.

SO what came first - removing the conflicts - or increasing the Wimbledon
service?
