I've just heard Boris on the radio, and he said the cost will be about £45 million and that the full sum had been guaranted by this sort of sponsorship. He also maintained that the cost of land reclamation would be financed by the fares that TfL will collect but when asked what the fares would be, he admitted he didn't yet know! i.e. typical Boris: hopeless on details.
