Well , if you're someone with a working brain the answer would be A.
Unfortunately for the LU staff at Hanger Lane it appears its B.

If there's only one chap available, he can't be cashing up the machine
*and* operating the office at the same time.

Why not? He can keep an eye on the window and if someone comes up then go
deal with them. As far as I can tell the cashing up is mostly automatic anyway.
