The picture is a still from a video, and the train that has just passed
looked like a D78 stock, or C stock. Definitely not a Piccadilly line
train, which would rule out Hammersmith to Acton Town. I was thinking
maybe Ladbroke Grove.


D78s can and do run along the same ROW as 73ts, however.

Did the C69/77s ever run between Hammersmith and Acton Town?

Not routinely, but from time to time, particularly when services are
disrupted.
