The new, more elaborate "heritage style" sign is reappearing at most or all
Underground stations, replacing the plainer version of recent years. Just
take a look. I don't know if LU150 triggered it, but the Underground is
definitely restoring more of its classic look.


Here's a couple of examples from the next two stations up from you,
Eastcote and Rayners Lane:

As you can probably make out, these somewhat weathered signs have
obviously been up for a while. As a relatively quiet station, Ruislip
Manor was probably just further down the priority list for updating.
In fact, it's getting quite hard to find stations which still have the
plainer roundel.
