The new, more elaborate "heritage style" sign is reappearing at most or all
Underground stations, replacing the plainer version of recent years. Just
take a look. I don't know if LU150 triggered it, but the Underground is
definitely restoring more of its classic look.

It's a shame they put up one of the plainer versions, quite so recently
and quite so large, at Kings Cross (exit towards "the lands"):

Is this the largest roundel on the system, or is there a bigger one
anywhere else??

I'm not sure what the policy is, but the plain roundel does seem to be
deployed quite often, including on the trains themselves. Maybe the
ornate heritage style is just for main station signs?
