FCC put ticket gates on their platforms

Some of them. The new platform 1 and 2 (used by most local stopping
services heading towards Moorgate and King's Cross don't have barriers
for some reason. 5 and 6 also don't have barriers but very few trains
use them.

I presume this is because the FCC barriers were put in before 1 & 2
were completed and that therefore they will be coming along soon.

They were put in before 1 and 2 were started. They are actually old
platforms that have been brought back into use but that has meant
installing a lift, moving the stairs, new platform buildings, new
platform surfaces, new signs, new CCTV, new PA etc. It seems odd that
gates weren't included in all that.

1 & 2 have never been opened as platforms before. They were partly
constructed before the war for the Northern Heights extension of the
Northern City Line but never completed before now.
