Try this (from Google products forum):

Click on the settings icon.

What setting icon? There are two icons which don't explain themselves. One
(top left) returns to the map view if I click on it and the other (bottom
right) does nothing.

Choose "Share or embed map" from the popup menu.
A dialog will show with "Share" tab selected.
Simply copy the URL or choose "Shorten url" and then copy.
