Default The dangers of the subways of Elephant & Castle...


He must have been going a fair bit to get across the subway like that.


Its not even a car length.




He had to get through the railing which is meant to resist vehicles, and

jump half the subway.

Those railings are not meant to resist vehicles. They are normal pedestrian guard railings that are there to stop any pedestrian silly enough to be walking round that side of the subway from falling down into the subway.

The car may or may not have been speeding but it could easily land where it did if it was travelling at 30 mph.
