Not true, as I refunded another card (with a balance of £0.05) on the
spot (I'm switching fully to contactless, the second card was to give
to anyone who was visiting but in practice was never used). He said it
was specifically because it was a copy. Notably it remembered that the
one that was refunded was an old card with a £3 rather than £5 deposit.
