IIRC Waterloo has never been the Bakerloo's southern terminus - it was
always intended as Elephant & Castle though for the first few months Lambeth
North was a temporary interchange.


OK, didn't know that. But the northern terminus has certainly changed
several times. Also, wasn't that an 'unofficial' name initially, that was
later adopted as the official name?
