exceedingly lightly used outside the peaks, which raises the question of
why they don't continue running the present service in the peaks but
either revert to the old service outside the peaks, or run Hamm -

Err the data is 500k journeys on weekday. Probably about 1/6th of
average weekday patronage back then.
