If you want to know what the font used by London Underground (and
TfL) is, it's New Johnston. However you will not be able to obtain
a copy of that. You will however be able to get hold of Johnston
Sans, the original London Underground typeface. It is sold by P22.

There are still many old signs on the Underground in the original
Johnston font.
