I think that's a point worth making! Although "Everything a customer may
see during their journey should be considered from the customer's
perspective" would make the same point a little better.

The thing that springs to mind is those little letters you used to have
over seats, I don't know if they still have them, but they used to say
things like "BFV" for "Butterfly valve" and other baffling acronyms that
told you which emergency equipment was under which seat. Of course they
weren't for the customer, but they were in the customer's field of view
on every journey and were a source of bafflement which wounded the
passengers' sense of control over their lives.
