I doubt it - there are huge office and apartment developments that are
nowhere near train stations. For example, the massive new thing at Tally Ho
Corner in North Finchley is further from any station than Watford Met is
from Ascot Road planned station.

*shrug*

It just seemed to me that the developers who are building these
buildings wouldn't mind a train station right next door...
