Conservative Parliamentary Party. It wasn't her fault the only other
candidate withdrew, but on the other hand that was after a significant
defeat of the latter in the second ballot.

Though it was the same tory MPs and supporters who moaned about Brown
becoming Prime Minister in analogous circumstances.
