Ticketless Buses Zone 1?
Maybe one day you will be in a queue when it really matters, e.g. at a
check-in
at the airport waiting for a flight to a wedding or funeral, and someone
barges
their way in front of you, thus taking the last available seat on the one
remaining flight that will get you there in time.
(1) Standing is allowed on a bus and is not on aeroplanes.
(2) Generally speaking, all air passengers have bought tickets in advance.
(3) In any case, I don't know of any airlines that will let you board
the plane without having first bought a ticket.
So your analogy is incredibly bad.
But I shouldn't let that get in the way of a good rant, should I?
My analogy is valid: most airlines overbook, so those at the front of the
check-in queue are more likely to be accepted than those at the end.
If you think reasoned debate is a "rant", than that says more about you than it
does about me.
