Default A13 Canning Town and East India Dock Link Tunnel

Within the last couple of weeks, the East India Tunnel (two-lanes each
way) has been fully open in both directions, and the newly
reconstructed Canning Town flyover (three-lanes each way) is also now
fully open (though there are narrow reservations between the off-side
lane and lane 2 in each direction, as well as a rather narrow central
reservation). You can now whizz eastbound from Limehouse to Sadler's
Hall Farm near Southend via Limehouse Link, Aspen Way, East India Dock
Link, Newham Way, Alfreds Way, Ripple Road and the new A13 linking up
with the section east of the M25, with only one set of intervening
traffic lights - these being the junction with the new Canary Wharf
Northern Access just to the west of the Billingsgate Market.
(westbound traffic has to negotiate a second set of lights at Renwick
Rd, Barking for eastbound traffic turning right)

Further east at Barking, works are continuing on reconstruction of
footpaths/cycleways either side of the A13, and drainage, lighting
upgrades. There are also lane closures between Dagenham and Wennington
for communications works.
