Manchester Metrolink has a forward view too doesn't it? Also with the

The track's the main problem. It's had minimal maintenance compared
with the Manchester area heavy rail lines - there is (or was until
very recently) still 1960s bullhead jointed rail in many places on the
Bury line, for example.
The poor-quality tram suspension does make for a very violent
side-to-side shudder, mind; a 142 is far more comfortable as the soft
springs make the movement less violent.
