Default West London today, how was it for you?

Just wondering what the Hammersmith area was like today (particularly in the
morning and evening rush hours).

I went into London, leaving Slough just before 12:50pm. Cut up the back
roads around Wexham, and then up the A412 onto the A40. No problems so far.
Fine all the way into London, with only a minor amount of queuing over the
Marylebone flyover. Then up to King's Cross, up Grays Inn Road, and up to
Holborn for my first delivery. Then up Holborn, Shaftesbury Avenue, Wardour
St, Noel St/Great Marlborough St and Regent St and over to Hanover St for
the 2nd drop. Then out via Grosvenor Square to Park Lane, through Victoria,
and out towards Lambeth for another drop, and then out to Parsons Green (via
Lambeth Bridge and the Embankment) for the final drop.

Embankment was flowing absolutely fine up to King's Road, where I turned off
(ok so it's not the Embankment anymore, but still the same route) - I would
have expected big tailbacks as this is the main route out to the A4 from
City/Westminster/Docklands, but up to that point, it was all fine.

Going over the M25 on the A412 heading up towards Denham it was flowing
absolutely fine heading North (but absolutely chocka the other way mind
you).

Then heading out of town, I went via Putney Bridge, Lower Richmond Road,
through Barnes/Mortlake, out via Chiswick Bridge, and onto the A4 via Grove
Park. Everything seemed fine there as well, with no hold-ups on the way.
The M4 was flowing fine all the way in, and looking to the right as I turned
left onto the A4 it looked fine as far as I could see as well, which means
at the worst it was tailing back to just beyond the Hogarth Roundabout.

Sounds like they picked a good time of the year to do it really.
