Thats pretty much what a lot of the drivers deserve IMO. However if
they signed
that deal it would be worth keeping them on.

Hardly. Explotation is where you're not getting suitable recompense for
your
efforts. LUL staff already get far MORE than they deserve when compared
to
other blue collar workers who don't get to sit in a nice cosy air
conditioned
cab or station most of the day. If anything the workers at LUL are
exploiting
the public since they know they've got LU over a barrel as there are
precious
few realistic alternatives to commuting into central london other than
by tube
so its not the same as the miners striking where coal could be bought
from
overseas.
