Default Tube stations closed on Sundays

Indeed there were. Looking at a 1972 map it gives Covent Garden, Ravenscourt
Park and Shadwell as closed on Sundays and Barbican, Fairlop, Mornington
Crescent, Roding Valley and West Brompton as closed on Saturdays and
Sundays.


West Brompton reopened at weekends with the opening of the West London
Line platforms, I believe.

Of course, at the moment, Sloane Square, St James's Park, Blackfriars,
Mansion House and Tower Hill tend to be closed on Sundays, along with
Wembley Park, Preston Road and Northwick Park...
