Did anyone register an objection to the closure of Shoreditch?
Did anyone really notice/care? :-)

Does anyone think that Shoreditch High Street is an adequate replacement for
Shoreditch? IMHO the two serve completely different catchments (Brick Lane
for Shoreditch, and Bishopsgate/east end of Old Street/Great Eastern Street
for Shoreditch High Street).

Exactly where is the new station going to be?
I along with hundreds of others use Shoreditch on a Sunday to get
to the markets, I go to Spitalfields which is only a few minutes walk
away and lots of others to Brick Lane, but I must admit that a station
in or very near Shoreditch High St would be very useful for me and it
is still easy enough to walk down to Spitalfields. Getting to Shoreditch
High St is rather more tedious from Shoreditch and the High St is a
handy place for getting buses.
