Default GNER trains terminating at Peterborough - why?

Were being used. Although the reports at yesterday afternoon's press
conference that everyone had been removed from the Piccadilly train are
now in some doubt.

Of course, the reporters last night continually referred to "Platforms
8, 9 & 10" being open...


Presumably they were only using the King's Cross access from the side of
the New St Pancras. Platform 8 can be fully accessed from there, as well
as the more obvious platforms 9-11.
