So change the way you live. You'd have to if you lost your job for
any reason.

Nonsense! I wouldn't have to change anything. I've lost, been fired
from, or made redundant from several jobs over my 30+year career and
never had to change the way I live.

Then what leads you to believe couldn't live on bus driver's money?

I quite agree, but imagine having clients who treated you in just
that manner.

I have a couple. I defer to them, think about the enormous cheques at
the end of the month, bite my lip, and get on with it!

However, bus drivers don't get enormous cheques at the end of the month nor
do they have the counterbalance of a majority of
customers/clients/passengers treating them decently and being appreciative
of their efforts.

How long do you think it would be before you adopted a similar
outlook and behaviour? (If you say "Never" then I would suggest you
are not
a very effective PR type.)

Never! Which makes me *very* effective at what I do.

Are you seriously suggesting that you don't "get in tune" with the ethos,
style or working etc and general attitude prevailing amongst the people you
deal with?

And what's a 'PR type'?

Someone who works in PR and is suited to that type of work.
