Saw one in Paddington about 6 weeks ago. Both power cars and the
entire train was in green and yuk. By the way, just to stir up things
a little, why does the HST have Paxman units when the most unreliable
800 wasn't even the MAN units but the Paxman engined 830 which had
Mekyrdro transmissions, much more reliable than the Voith. I wonder
just what politics came into this decision, just as the one for ridding
the W.R. Of Diesel Hydraulics.
