The tripcocks are being tested by the trains passing a raised trainstop
at the approach to the termini. As a consequence, this totally messes
up the service and a special reduced service is generally in operation.
There is also a shortage of trains because the depot needs them as the
tripcocks are also being checked out in depot by depot staff.

What's happened to the trip testers like the one that used to be at
Leicester Sq.? Are these no longer in use?
