oops - the ticket is valid to Reading anyway, so it's not doubling
back, it's a new journey??


Correct - as it's a season, you can use it for a journey from
Kensington Olympia to Reading (intermediate stations on a Permitted
Route), and then a "separate" journey from Reading to Paddington
(intermediate stations on a different Permitted Route). It wouldn't be
possible on a single without doubling back though, unless VXC ever
decide to stop at Acton Main Line
