A few years back, the timetable contained "runs as required" paths
for specials from Moorgate to Putney Bridge via Edgware Road, for

or used.

How would such a train be advertised... Is it a District Line
train to Edgware Road, then a H&C to Moorgate?

Would many passengers stay on the train from Fulham Bdwy to Kings
Cross? I thought most would change @ Earls Court for the Pic line

Why would they want to change trains for an 11-station journey instead
of remaining on the same train for a 9-station journey? It would
probably have to appear on platform displays as "Edgware Road" at least
up to Earl's Court, but if it said Moorgate on the front and there were
announcements on board and on the platforms at Fulham Broadway and
Earl's Court that it would be going via KXSP, there's a fair chance that
people would get the message.

I can't see any sign of it, however, in the Ditrict WTT129 (September
2002), which is the latest one I have.
