New buses (2006 registration) have recently appeared on routes 468 and
68, probably others only haven't noticed, anyrate this
rotation/replacement comes only 3 years after the last fleet
replacement.
My question for you knowledgeable types is... What is the life
expectancy of a modern London bus (surely can't be just three years)
and if cascaded for other routes why do the 68/468 gain new vehicles at
the expense of other routes, particularly as vandalism is rife in Sarf
London?
