Is it possible to get it replaced at some other Connex station other

*ANY* National Rail Ticket Office *should* issue you with an Encoding
Exchange, whether they will or not is a different matter.

One other thing to try is getting it issued at an office that uses
Tribute rather than APTIS, such as St Pancras, then do the Manual Gate
on Entry, Auto Barrier on Exit trick.

If it *still* doesn't work, ask 'em to issue the Encoding Exchange dated
from that day, rather than the original date on the ticket, as that
usually works.
